Why do I exercise, you ask? No, not to make my body an ornament to flaunt about. My goal is not to be a bodybuilder. I exercise to take care of my body, my instrument. When I exercise I am a better person for my family and friends. I have more energy to run and play with my kids. I am able to face the day with focus and happiness because I am took time improve my physical self.
Not that long ago, I was 12 pounds heavier! I didn’t enjoy running and playing with my kids because I hated the way my left over baby pouch jiggled when I jumped and ran! Now, that I have my eating under control and exercise regularly, I lost the dreaded jiggle and am now able to keep up with all the energy in my children.
Recently, I had a wellness check up for my insurance and I was absolutely thrilled at how my health has improved over the last six months! I have lost almost 15 pounds, my body fat went down 7% and my BMI is down 3 points! Why do I tell you this?
